This year the race to the White House will go down in history as one of the most peculiar political battles our generation has ever seen. It’s not because of Donald Trump, well maybe it is, it’s because we’ve never seen presidential candidates so active on social media. President Barack Obama opened the social media door, becoming the first president to use social media in his campaign before it became as universal as it is today. The voters he raked in from his AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit became one of the most popular threads of all time. The post grabbed the attention of millennials nationwide. So, before it gets any uglier, take a moment and reminisce on the old days when the Democratic presidential nominees were “innocent” and full of life.
1. Hillary Clinton
2. Bernie Sanders
Come back next Thursday for throwbacks of Republican Presidential Nominees, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and John Kasich.
